I have been frequenting your establishment several times a week for over a year. Food has always been great up until a few months ago. I get the same thing every time (Chorizo breakfast burrito) The quality has come down considerably. Five orders back to back were incorrect or the main ingredient Chorizo was not in the burrito. After this time of asking for double meat and getting none, I unrolled the burrito and there was no egg, no double meat, just potato and cheese. There used to be heaps. I try again and again hoping for different results but it remains the same. The inconsistency and cost is not worth it any longer. Sad to say I have probably spent thousands of dollars here but will not be returning.

Tounge tacos are the best here. Love the tacos. Very friendly. Yummy horchata. Best little local joint.

Great food. Great prices. The beef tongue is perfectly cooked and tastes amazing. I highly recommend it.

Great food at a reasonable price. Good flavor on everything. Ordered several things on the menu over time and I've never been disappointed with anything. If you want quick Mexican food this is the place to go!

This is such fresh and fantastic food. I drove past here hundreds of times and never stopped. A friend took me here today for BOGO taco Tuesday. I will definitely be back.

Average, but I directly asked if the lengua de res ( Beef Tongue ) had the taste buds and skin removed and the girl at the counter told me, yes of course we remove them. I even let her know that it was a pet peeve of mine and if the meat was not trimmed it would cause me to never return. Low and behold, I got home and took one bite of my $10 burrito and it was pretty much all rubbery taste buds and skin... Gross! Take the time to trim your meat or at least be honest. Some folks don't mind but I do. The rest of the meal was just ok, but no one in my family mentioned that it was good and nobody finished their food. Being as the portions weren't huge I take that as a sign that it just wasn't that good. Also I don't know why it cost $40 for 3 burritos and some rolled tacos??? We won't be back!

Best casual, counter service Mexican restaurant in town IMHO. Food is better than many full service Mexican restaurants.

Great food. Chili Verde and Carne Asada plate are my favs.

Being a vegan, I was concerned that there would not be an option for me. I was completely wrong. The staff made me a vegan spinach burrito w hot sauce and it was delicious! The staff go above and beyond to ensure that you have a great experience! Food is fresh! Coffee is great as well. I am looking forward to my next visit! Maybe even this weekend!

Best,freshest, tastiest everything. Try the breakfast burrito or the chicken taco salad. They close up pretty early so get there before 7. This place is one of those rare gems that serve real food, not processed food by products.

Way more gooder than other more prevalent burrito places. DRIVE THROUGH! This burrito lay half eaten on my wife's passenger seat. And i wanted to eat it but she wouldn't let me. It was only a day old.

First time in, service was fast and friendly. I had the chicken taco salad. Overall not bad but could use a little seasoning, everything had the same flavors. We will give it another try

I was drinking a horchata drink and there was food on the bottom of the cup. My wife thinks it was a smashed bean.

You just can't beat El Pique for burritos. I've had a few different ones and they've all been excellent. Chili Verde, fish and lengua are my go-tos.

Food was decent tasting. I have no complaints about the taste. From what I saw the place was clean. I felt that the food portions was tiny. I had three steak tacos and chips and salsa. I left there still hungry. I was surprised that they charged for chips and salsa, but was shocked that after I paid $3 for them, extra salsa was another $1.75. I looked closer at the menu and every single condiment item was highly priced. I would not go back personally, and I would never recommend this place. The staff was friendly.

I have no clue how this place has so many 5 star reviews, the food I received was bland and gross. Never going back and never recommending this place. They must have some bots making those high reviews cause no one in their right mind is eating here a second time

This is the best place in town to get any kind of burrito hands down. The people are so nice and polite.

Updated; Its really hard to get good Mexican food in Oregon. it's not a place where you can sit down and have chips and salsa before your meal it's a takeout place, they have 9 small tables and plastic forks. Its small, welcoming, crowded and it's in Springfield and those things don't usually go together.I've eaten here many times now and I really like it, everything is fresh and worth your time and money, prices are very reasonable and they have COFFEE :) also, I like the almond joy with a bacon omelet. The people are nice and they keep the place clean.

It's good food like you would get at a sit down restaurant without the site down price. Eat here of you like tasty Mexican food on a small budget. Way better then Taco Hell.

Try the breakfast plated burrito! All the good ingredients as the burrito, but on a plate with the tortilla on the side.

I love that they have a drive-thru, especially now with COVID in full swing.We ordered an array of food so I’ll rate below :)Chorizo Burrito - 4/5 - it tasted good although somehow not very authentic (per H)Fish Burrito - 4/5 - good response from the person who ate it however he is a man of few words 😂Chicken Burrito - 4/5 - again commented that it was very good, but no raving review Veggie Taquitos - 5/5! I wouldn’t call it veggie since it was a taquito with beans and potatoes but damn it was delicious!Taco Salad - 5/5 - for H, he loved it. For me, I would give it a 3/5 (I’m vegetarian and I like veggiessss; given what it was, it was good but not astounding)Overall we enjoyed the meal(s) and I love the taquitos so much I’m going to push H to go there more often 😋

Was in the beginning of February. My daughter took two bites of her food and had to pull some kind of wire out of her mouth, something that resembled like a wire bristles off of something . Waiter apologized but did not even offer to comp meal even after saying “ you discounted it right? There was 3 others eatting and the food was horrible and had a metallic taste to it. Took it home and threw it all in the garbage . Didn’t even want to feed it to the dogs. Never again ! And lord only knows what the wire bristles were off of .. thankful she did not choke on it or swallow any of it..

Excellent food, next time we're in the area we'll definitely stop by for lunch!

I have been going here for quite sometime and the prices have gone up dramatically and the quality has dropped. I purchased chips and salsa with my meal this evening when I got home opened the bag and there was a real Rancid strong smell.i don't believe they are not changing there oil the chimichanga also had the same rancid smell .can't even eat this because of the terrible odor I won't be returning to this establishment .For the $27.00 dollars I spent I could have had a nice dinner else where. I'm done good look to all the other patrons.
